Nathaniel Saltonstall, an architect and art collector, was one of the founders of the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in Boston, Massachusetts. He was President from 1936-1948, and 1960-1961; and Honorary President from 1961-1968. He was also a long-time trustee of both the ICA and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
